I've got a Gen fic starring Andrew of all people and incorporating all comics canon to date. It's a smidge over 1000 words and I'm not confident enough in my Andrew characterization to post it without someone's critical eye. If anyone is interested, I'd be grateful. We really need to get you caught up. Comics canon offers so many new fic possibilities and I'm a bit sorry not to see more comics canon-fic. I'd love to get your take on the Spike-Illyria interaction of the new Angel season, if nothing else. :P

I just got back from Smith. Yes. Way yes. Super way yes and I wish I could start now. It was awesome. Totes my first choice for grad school and I could not be more excited. BTW, got any plans for next summer? The munchkin is slated to spend a month with relatives (they're actually fighting over him) and I thought I might take a long kid-free weekend and pop down to see you. No rush on plans or anything, but I figured I'd tell you now and find out if you were interested in a houseguest. :)

I read the first trade of the Buffy comics and was pretty ho-hum about it. If anything, Angel looks more up my alley. My interest was piqued when I was at your place rooting through the issues you had.

That's great to hear about Smith, btw! Isn't Northhampton lovely? Have you started aps yet? Omg, or GRE studying? Gah!

I don't have any plans for next summer, except WriterCon. I'll probably go on vacay somewhere, but I won't know that for awhile. That said, I would lurve you as a houseguest. Hopefully all apartment renovations will be done by then and I can put you up in style. Do you know which month the squirt is going? I'm sure we could find some fab places to go and things to see in NYC. The options for activity definately increase during the summer.

And god damnit. I'm going to try and find a weekend to come and see you before the summer. I have a friend performing in Ithaca in the first or second week of Nov. Maybe that's a possibility.

Are you planning on WriterCon? I was just talking to only_passenger about it and if we want to get a hotel room. We need a phone date. I feel out of breath just typing this.
