Dear Governor Palin,

Please note: my use of the word dear should not be construed as affection. Could you at least wait to get elected before you start planning our next war? And could you maybe not do it at all? My husband has been deployed three times in six years in support of TWO (count'em, pookie: TWO) separate wars. How about we wrap those puppies up before you have him halfway on the plane for a a fourth deployment and third war?

I wish your husband the best and hope he stays safe. I have a nephew that is in Afghanistan right now. And I agree with you. Wait til your elected to start a war and then it had better be a good reason behind it. Love ya. Stay safe.

Thank you and the very best to your nephew as well. My husband did two tours in Afghanistan and he...well, he didn't enjoy it per se but he did say that it was a lovely country with wonderful people and he was proud of being part of the effort there. Much hugs and loves to you, hon! You're always here for me and I can't tell you how much that means. :)
