Flist Appeal: Torchwood Recs

Okay, so I watched a few of the *newer* episodes of "Torchwood" last night. I say newer because the Brits are like eighty bazillion episodes ahead of us. So, I'm on season 2, episode 3 (To The Last Man) and I have to say? I almost cried. It was really sad and I was hoping what happened wouldn't happen, but it did.

Anyways, the reason I'm reaching out and trying to touch someone is that I'm wanting to read some Owen/Ianto fic. Nothing against Jack/Ianto, but I'd like to see some comfort fic for the period between S1/S2. I know that a lot of my Buffy pals are onto Torchwood now and I was hoping to get some Owen/Ianto recs...I've joined torchwoodslash  but I'm like a bajillion years behind and I'm way too lazy to sift through all the Jack/Ianto.

I can't speak to the sadness to which you refer because I've only seen the opener, but I just wanted to thank you for the community reference. I've been wanting to find a location for Jack/John fics, and for some reason, I had a complete brain fart when it came to locating them. I realized after seeing the one you listed that I could have done an interest search. *bonks forehead repeatedly* I'm sorry the 3rd ep made you sad. I had never seen any Torchwood before JM's first ep, but I really liked it. Captain Jack is really hot! (Yes, I know John Barrowman is gay, but it doesn't mean I can't look! LOL!) The crew dynamic is funny, too, and I love the fast pace. Anyway, I have to wait for my eps to get here from Britain. (I don't like the cleaned-up U.S. version. BLICK.) *huggles*
