So there was a thing tonight...

Signs that you're reading way too much fanfic:
1.) You've ready so many stories that you can't remember what is or is not canon without a refresher (Bonus points if: you've confused a scene from a fic with a scene from the show)
2.) You're reading non-fan fiction and you're disappointed at the lack of graphic sex scenes (Bonus points if: while reading non-fan fiction, you mentally insert the graphic sex scenes)
3.) You're watching TV and you think you see the name of your favorite 'ship listed as a show (Bonus points if: after you realize it's not your favorite 'ship, you do a Google search to see if maybe it really is a fic anyways)
4.) You read number 2 and couldn't remember the last time you'd read non-fan fiction (Bonus points if: you've forgotten what a bound book looks like)
5.) You've ever had an intense, serious discussion about any of the following: AU versus OOC, 'ship versus gen, the ethics of RPS. (Bonus points if: you can rationally point out the canon merits of different 'ships)
6.) Your dreams revolve around fanfiction (Bonus points if: you've actually written a story based on a dream you had)
For the record? I have not only had all of the above happen, but I qualify for plenty of bonus points....And number 3? It was "American Splendor" which I somehow transposed into "American Spander". And yeah, I really wanted to know how that would play out...
