So, remember how last year I was all OMG I AM REMIXING AN EPICLY EPIC EPIC AND HOW AM I GOING TO CONDENSE A BAJILLION WORDS INTO A WORKABLE STORY OF LESS THAN THAT? Yeah, I don't have that problem this year. See? I learn from my mistakes.
AND GO ON TO MAKE TOTALLY NEW AND ORIGINAL ONES. The only story I could find that appealed to me because I'm a picky bitch...is between 300 and 400 words. From that, I have to make a story of NOT LESS than 1000 words. Yeah. New and interesting times. Remind me of this part next year, yes? Not more than eleventy hundred words and not less than, oh, say, 500. Promise?
Browsing the stacks I remember
all those long ago summers spent
hiding in the library
the smell of glue and faded ink
making me dizzy.
I love text. The solidity of:
words, phrases, and punctuation that never varies.
There's a deep comfort, for me,
in the support of rows and rows
of sturdy print. I could build a whole world
out of books. I'd live
there, in the library.

Thanks so much for getting back to me so quickly. I'm all posted and ready for the reveal on May 16th. Although I'm not real impressed with the AO3 interface. I know it's easier for the mods, admin wise, but I'm sorry they moved the remix off of LJ.
