Dr. Who Love
Jun. 25th, 2008 08:55 pmOh, not me. I'm actually slightly meh on Dr. Who. I watch it for Captain Jack because I? am John Barrowman's heteronormative bitch, baby. Seriously. It's a sad, sad, sad crush that I have. Made even sadder by the fact that I get to sleep with a Marine on semi-regular basis (when he and I are on the same continent at the same time). And yet, here I am, watching shows I don't particularly enjoy...just to get a glimpse of a gay man.
I am totally without life.
Anyways, my SON is in love with The Doctor. We just finished Season 1 and saw the change. So, I explained to my 5 year old what had happened (still the same Doctor, just a new face) and he turns to me and says "I just love this show!" Now he's wandering around the house roleplaying as the Doctor and killing Daleks.
Who needs Disney when you have the Doctor? Right,
kidcyclone? Cuz you know I'm blaming you for this whole Doctor thing!

on 2008-06-27 12:34 am (UTC)We're Doctor newbies, but so far it's definitely interesting. If only for the mostly naked John Barrowman.
