Don't usually comment on political stuff, but with this one, I had to.
Aaaaaannnnnd my love for you just reached a whole new level, thanks to #1. I really wish that the religious right would just go create its own party instead of continuing to hijack mine. They really aren't going to be happy until we live in an official theocracy, are they?
I'm tired of everyone making the Repulican party the Jesus party, because then I end up either ideologically lumped in with idiots I can't stand or having to explain that no, I don't hold with their opinions, and yes, there is such a thing as a liberal Republican. (Although that last part usually gets me asked why I don't just vote conservative Democrat). Seriously, when did extremist thought take over?
In full agreement with you on the other two as well. As far as the 'choking game', biologists have another name for it: natural selection. And Congress, well... I'll save that for another day :)
