Thank you. Watching the show, I've often noticed how much male energy and masculinity is either suppressed or portrayed as evil. Considering that Joss Whedon made much of the doctrines of Wicca in BtVS, this is not only surprising but downright mystifying. If Wicca stresses anything, it is the balance of masculine and feminine energy. So seeing such misandry really throws me for a loop.
