In The Key of X (Xander Fanart)

So, I did a little entry for the sparkandburn collage challenge. I like incorporating typographical elements into my art and this was a fun challenge - trying fit the required elements into the design rather than designing around the required elements.

After I posted it, I started thinking about doing something similar for Xander. He's probably the most flexible character, in terms of identity. Certainly he's played a wider variety of roles than the others and I decided to do a few collages based on those roles. All the text is from Xander's dialogue during the relevent episodes: The Wish, Halloween, The Pack, and Potentials.

These are all neat. I really like how the words take center stage. I love the use of color in each of these, but Soldier really pops.

Thanks. I really enjoy finding ways to incorporate type into my art and I've been wanting to do something for Xander for years. I just finally found the best way (for me!) to do both. I'm glad you liked these.

I'm such a Vamp Xander fan...but only because I like'em mean. Glad you enjoyed these, hon and hope you're enjoying the story I sent you to beta. I'm thinking it needs some extension and revision, but I definitely want to hear your thoughts (or squicks if that's how it plays).
