So I was working on a few submissions to good_evil's art-a-thon. Except I think they're not very inspirational. I got a bit carried away in the playing with PS part and sort of stopped caring about the telling a story part. So I'll just post the rejects here (I did submit one banner!), mostly because I had so much fun making them.

Beautiful, hon! I'd pick a fave, but I can't, really. I love how you used text in the first two, though - beautiful and fun and unique. :)

Thank you! I think I've done several different versions of that one scene because it's probably the most gorgeous. I love Darla beyond all reason and she gets so little fandom love.

Thanks, sweetie! It was actually because they were more typographic experiments than banners that I felt I shouldn't enter them. I loved doing them, but they just don't seem all inspirational, fic-wise. But I'm glad you enjoyed them and ya for my fic! Spike and Xander comics canon fic needs more love, darn it!

Thanks! I'm using Photoshop (Creative Suite 2) and I'll actually be upgrading soon (which means more new toys!). I love your icon. It's so OMG cute!

Thank you. I think that's third or fourth version I've done of that one scene. It's one of my favorites, if only for the atmosphere of anticipation and mystery. I'm such a sucker for that.

Thank you. I'm glad you liked them. I'm just trying to break up my usual style. I've been all formulaic about it and that's just no fun. Now if I could only bust this writer's block, I'd be all set.
