I'm posting this SPECIFICALLY for jaded_jamie because I know he's dying for another glimpse inside the funhouse mirror that passes for my psyche. This song was playing when my husband and I were making up after our very first fight. No, not that kind of making up. Pervs. But he sang it to me and that's why this is our song.

Because this is adult song and because not everyone appreciates Youtube vids all over their flist, I'm placing this behind the cut. Jamie, I demand to be psychoanalyzed now. :P

LMAO! No I am not a Freudian. I work from many schools of psychology, I'm omnipsychological that way :)

But I do see great value in his work, use psychoanalysis regularly, I do think his work on reproductive and excretive functions of the body helped greatly our understanding of the human mind hehe! But I am also aware and sensitive to the fact that feminism often plays a role in the undervaluing of his achievement and life’s work and know it is not modern or always politically correct to consider him a great man in his field.

Now please excuse me while I go and become jealous of my fathers penis and try to undermine and kill him, with the intent of effectively replacing his role and when I realise this cant happen. Then instead build a neurosis and try to mirror his behaviour in an attempt to get Mum to want me sexually in the way she does him ............ And you can go get jealous of your Dad's penis, convincing yourself that your Mother must have cut your own off and therefore becoming a Daddies girl to covertly win his attention and love in the manner of which he gives it to your Mother ;) LOL!

So yeah, some of the things he came up with were worthy of crack!fic but the same could be said of all the greats of psychology.
