Excellent chapter, and the changes Xander's choices have wrought are reflected vividly in Xander's behavior. That he and Spike find Angel's happiness and warmth mildly disturbing was hilarious.

I can see why Spike's ultimate destination would rub Xander the wrong way, but I think Spike's right about his fate. Xander can choose not to accept it, but I don't see how he can change it. This was a thought provoking chapter.
