Xander trying to assert his heterosexuality even as he's totally mooning over the hot English vampire is just sad. I'm delighted that Buffy just calls him on it rather than trying to talk him out of the attraction. Spike and Xander refusing to just lay back and take the prophecy at face value is a huge change of canon and completely in character. Good on them!

This made me laugh: How the hell could he win the argument if she kept insisting on bringing facts into it? Even in his denial, there's no doubting Spike is hot. Darla cringing at the hugging was also hilarious.
